Luang Prabang Yoga has closed our retreat chapter in Nong Khiaw and we will no longer be running retreats in Laos for the remainder of the season. However, our teacher, Mana Takai, will be running a beautiful retreat in the lush beauty of Pai, just outside of Chiang Mai, Thailand.

Our venue for the 4 days is Kirina Wellness. It is located in Pai, a peaceful and laid-back town nestled in the rice field and mountains of Northern Thailand. Centered in the middle of lush rice fields and mountains Kirina Wellness provides a complete facility with accommodation and open air studios. As a highlight of the facility a round platform is located in the middle of rice fields perfect for early morning and evening sessions to enjoy the sunrise, sunset or stunning night sky. RETREAT FACILITATOR - MANA TAKAI

Mana left creative director/consultant position in the fashion industry based in Tokyo in 2015 to travel through Southeast Asia--it was there that she began her Yoga journey. Her Yoga studies continued once she returned to Tokyo until, in 2016, she finally decided to move to Chiang Mai, Thailand to get closer to her true nature. Since then, she has extensively studied, practiced, and taught yoga as she traveled throughout the world including Thailand, Laos, Japan and the United States. Yoga and meditation simply brings her joy and peace, and she endeavors to share that joy and peace with her students. Based in the firmness of the Ashtanga tradition, her classes are challenging and inspire discipline that guide students towards personal transformation. She is a finalist of Best Yoga Instructor in ”Best of D.C 2021, 2022 & 2023” by Washington Citypaper.
