Angsana Maison Souvannaphoum Hotel
Your home for the weekend will be the Angsana Maison Souvannaphoum Hotel, once the residence of Prince Souvannaphouma, former Prime Minister of Laos. The property combines French colonial and traditional Lao inspiration to bring you a resort experience that is luxurious and soothing. Located just on the edge of the historic peninsula, the property is quiet, yet a short walk to where the action happens if you choose to venture out.
Rooms
Garden wing rooms are cozy and comfortable, offering modern decor and colonial architecture. Rooms with king-sized beds or twin beds available. The air-conditioned rooms have attached bathroom areas with shower. Facilities include complimentary Wi-Fi Internet access.
Angsana Spa
Nestled amidst a picturesque garden, the Angsana spa is a sanctuary of tranquility. You'll receive a 60-minute massage of your choice here from an experienced masseuse. Look forward to being pampered on your weekend of leisure!
Yoga Shala
The yoga shala is tucked away from the main hotel property, overlooking a beautiful lotus pond. The space is tranquil, encouraging a contemplative yoga practice where you'll find yourself moving deeper into meditation. When we're not using the space, you're welcomed to come here and meditate on your own or simply just lie back and read a book.
Elephant Blanc Restaurant
The hotel's poolside restaurant whips up French, Laotian and Indo-Chinese fusion cuisine. You'll be treated to a delicious Lao dinner on your first evening here as well as breakfast following the morning yoga sessions. During your free time, perhaps spend some much needed R&R by the pool and order up a shake or smoothie from the restaurant.
Meet Buddy, the Resident Parrot!
One thing we're sure of that makes the Maison Souvannaphoum unique is their resident parrot, Buddy! Buddy can be found floating on the shoulders of some of the hotel staff during the day. He's pretty friendly most of the time and often willing to make new friends!
